Pictured is Danica in the passenger seat of her dad’s buggy, a sight that is becoming rarer and rarer as she gets more time behind the wheel.

Jerimiah is a WHCI club member, passionate off-road enthusiast, talented builder, funny socialite, and most of all, proud dad. Like many of us, Jerimiah began wheeling with friends in his high school years. He began with a Ford Ranger, but around 10 years ago, found an interest in buggies. He’s gone through a few rigs, including a building kid’s buggy for his daughter, Danica.

His current build is a buggy built in 2016. After buying the cage from a friend, he completed the rig with a Chevy 5.3 liter engine, a 4L60 transmission, Rockwell axles, 2” RCV axle shafts, and 4 wheel steering. He is currently building a second rig so Danica can have his current one.

Most often, you can find Jerimiah and Danica at their favorite wheeling spots, like Frontenac Farms, Dresser, and Apple Valley Farms. In fact, you rarely see the two without each other. Danica has been wheeling with Jerimiah since she was four or five years old, sleeping in her carseat. One of the things they both love is the community and camaraderie this sport offers, and enjoy catching up around the bonfire after a day of wheeling. In fact, Jeremiah says his favorite part of off-roading is the people he’s m et along the way. His advice to those new to the sport? “Get out there, learn as you go, meet as many people as you can, and most of all, have fun!”
